Depart your central Tel Aviv hotel by air-conditioned coach and travel to Nazareth in the Galilee region. En route, hear tales of the city, known as the childhood home of Jesus and its important role in the Christian faith.
Upon arrival, we visit some of Nazareth’s key religious sites. We will see the Church of the Annunciation, where the Angel Gabriel is said to have spoken to the Virgin Mary and see the Church of St Joseph, believed to stand on the site of Joseph’s carpentry workshop.
We then continue through the village of Kafer Kana, identified as the site of Cana where Jesus performed the miracle of wine and arrive at the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s biggest freshwater lake and the setting of many biblical tales.
Pass the Church of the Multiplication, the believed location of the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000 and explore Capernaum on the shores of the Sea. We will view the ruins of the Synagogue that stood where Jesus taught and see the modern Church that sits over St. Peter’s house, where Jesus is believed to have stayed.
Pass through the waterfront city of Tiberias and arrive in Yardenit, a sacred Baptism site on the Jordan River. Admire this idyllic spot and if you wish, take part in a Christian Baptism ceremony.
On your return, enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Tabor, known to Christians as the Mount of Transfiguration, before your tour ends in Tel Aviv.

Board an air-conditioned coach at your central Tel Aviv hotel for your day trip to Old and New Jerusalem, located around 1.5 hours away.
En route, listen as your guide charts Jerusalem’s tangled past. Hear about its 3000 year old history and how the city has been held sacred by the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths since the biblical era.
Visit the Mount of Olives for splendid views over the walled Old City, including the golden Dome of the Rock at the Temple of the Mount. Then, drive along the Kidron Valley past the Garden of Gethsemane, Dormition Abbey and other sites before entering the Old City through the Zion Gate.
Follow the twisting alleyways of the Armenian Quarter to the Jewish Quarter and pass the Byzantine Cardo, the city’s main thoroughfare during Byzantine times. See the Western Wall (Wailing Wall), where thousands of Jewish worshippers gather and enter the Christian Quarter to trace some of the route taken by Jesus to his crucifixion along the Via Dolorosa.
View some of the Stations of Cross (No. 5-14) en route to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built on the site of Calvary, the place of Jesus' crucifixion. Then, pass through the Jewish Marketplace and Jaffa Gate and drive to New Jerusalem to the Holocaust Museum, a striking building dedicated to the six million and more victims of the Holocaust of WWII.
Head inside to take in the artefacts and testimonies set out in the galleries and end your explorations at the deeply poignant Hall of Names, where biographies of the victims are held. After your tour finishes you will be dropped back at your Tel Aviv hotel.
Please Note: The Holocaust Museum is closed on Friday’s, Saturday’s and Jewish holidays. On these days, your visit will be replaced by a visit to Mount Zion and the Gethsemane Church.
