From the Old Port of Marseille, cross the southern harbour to the Porte des Calanques. "La Baie des Singes" is a natural passage of exceptional beauty between Maïre Island and Cape Croisette. The visit continues here in a natural setting where we evolve under sail like the first navigators who discovered new horizons. The Calanques of Marseille extend over more than twenty kilometres of coastline between the village of Goudes. It is one of the most remarkable sites in France and a major area of natural resources and sporting activities. These Calanques are the favourite terrain of the Goélette Alliance. In 2012, the Calanques massif became a National Park to which La Goélette Alliance has privileged access. The decor is majestic between the limestone cliffs overlooking the wild coves and the old small fishing ports where the huts are nestled, modest typically Provençal settlements.

Discover the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence with this tour highlighting the best the city has to offer.
Walk with your guide on the Cours Mirabeau lined with a double row of large plane trees which form a tunnel of greenery. The exclusive street is home to grand and elaborate 17th and 18th Century private mansions. The Cours Mirabeau divides the city in two, with the old town to the north with its old and irregular streets while the new city or the Quartier Mazarin extends to the south and west. The old town is packed with shops, architectural and religious sites and bustling squares. Take a stroll through one of the numerous markets taking place every day in the centre of the city.
Aix is also the birthplace of the painter Paul Cezanne, who is considered one of the most influential artists of his era and is said to form the bridge between late 19th Century Impressionism and the early 20th Century's new line of artistic form, cubism. Both Matisse and Picasso are said to have remarked that Cézanne ‘is the father of us all’. This is an unmissable opportunity to visit the artist’s studio, which was built from his own plans and where time seems to have stood still.
