Learn the secrets and the properties of Burgundy’s well known little Black Berry, Cassis (Blackcurrant), the base for several of Dijon’s most sought after specialties. We will visit three boutiques, where you will delight in tasting a variety of delicacies that use Cassis. This guided tour will not only instruct you on all aspects of the fruit but on a bit of history of Dijon and Burgundy as well.

Following your pickup in central Dijon, hop aboard your minibus and travel out of the city into the rolling hills of Burgundy, widely considered among France’s finest winegrowing regions. Along the way, admire sweeping views over the fertile vineyards coating the landscape.
First we visit a local winery and explore the cellars with your guide. Gain insight into the winemaking process and sample a selection of Premier Cru red and whites. Here you will learn how to pair wines with your meals. We then head onward to a second Burgundy winery and learn of the estate’s rich family history. Taste a diverse range of Pinot Noir wines, developed in harmony with the region’s rich traditions.
En route back to Dijon we visit the charming village of Gevrey-Chambertin before we return back to central Dijon to conclude your tour.
