The French (Belmont) mill was built in 1838 and stopped working only in the middle of the 20th century. Since then it was idle and slowly dying. The renovation of this unique complex started in 2001. An idea of restoration was based on the great respect to the remaining relicts of our history and the amazing landscape of surroundings of Vilnius town. Neat surroundings, restored buildings and interiors of the halls enriched with ethnographic and antique pieces and furniture demonstrate some features of a lifestyle of people of Lithuania in the 19th century, their enjoyments and tastes. Thus, visiting this place, you can not only relax, enjoy a meal or entertain, but also get acquainted with various collections, from hunting trophies to antique works of authors of applied arts. We invite you to come to this wonderful corner of Vilnius where you and your guests always will be warmly welcomed.
