Upon arrival at the airport and after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to the exit gate where your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to explore on your own.

This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sites, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex; the Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda. We continue our trip to the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. Also we will visit the Old Quarter known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds.
You will be supplied 2 x 500ml bottles of mineral water, complimentary.

We start our day and drive for 2 hours along the green fields and villages of the two sided Number 01 Highway. Our first stop is Hoa Lư, which used to be the capital of Vietnam in the 11th Century; we will visit the Temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasty and learn about the history of Vietnam in the war with China and about the first Vietnamese Government. You will have a great view over the rice paddy fields and lots of fresh air.
We then begin our boat trip to visit the Tam Coc Grottoes where we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river amongst the rice paddies and local ranges and limestone mountains, which will tower over you. We will return back to Hanoi (Hà Nội) in the late afternoon.
Cold Towels and Water will be supplied during the tour.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be met and transferred to the airport for your onward journey or departure flight home.
Street Food Tour in Hanoi (Hà Nội)
We head to Hanoi’s Old Quarter area to start our journey of discovering the local food scene and local life of Hanoi (Hà Nội).
You will have a chance to enjoy a Green Papaya Salad, Hanoi Bread, Banh Cuon (Steam Stuffed Pancake), Phở (Beef or Chicken Noodles), Hanoi Draught Beer and Egg coffee (Ca Phe Trung).
During the tour, you not only have a chance to enjoy wonderful local food, get to know the ingredients and the cooking method of all the local tasty dishes but also to widen your local knowledge by visiting some destinations of culture, history, such as the Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Local Market, Kim Ngan Temple, The Old City Gate of Hanoi (Hà Nội) Old Quarter.
Full Day Tour in Halong Bay (Hạ Long Bay)
Today your tour guide will pick you at your hotel then you will drive to Hạ Long Bay. Upon arrival in Hạ Long, enjoy a 3-4 hour boat trip, walk into the Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace Cave) to see the thousands of stalactites and stalagmites coloured by hundreds of neon lights before heading back to the boat for a cruise along the World Nature Heritage part where we will see the Incense Bowl Islet, Cock Fighting Islets, Sail Islet and Turtle Island. After the boat trip, arrive back at your vehicle for your transfer back to Hanoi (Hà Nội).
Please ensure your passport is valid more than 6 months from the date of return for every country you are visiting. Please also ensure there is sufficient space in your passport to allow for all immigration procedures, taking note that some South East Asian countries take up a full page for the visa sticker and need yet more space on a separate page for entry and exit stamps.

Travel Advice for New Year:
If your dates of travel fall during Tet, the Vietnamese New Year (Jan 31 – Feb 04, 2022), travellers who are visiting larger cities like Saigon or Hanoi may encounter empty streets and deserted parks as Vietnamese people return to their home town to celebrate the New Year with their families. Most businesses are closed during TET holiday.
