Welcome to Finland, the Land of a Thousand Lakes. Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, the Capital of the Finnish Lapland, find your own way to the hotel for check-in (private transfer can be booked in advance). Lapland is as close as reality gets to those who dream of a winter wonderland. Contrasts are a key factor in the allure of Lapland where 24 hour sunlight in the summer replaces the dark winter days. The hustle and bustle of towns and Ski Resorts is just minutes away from the peace and quiet of the wild wilderness. In the evening, meet your tour escort in the hotel lobby for an informational meeting, which will give you all the necessary information about the flow of this tour. Meeting time is to be advised.
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before starting the day with some adrenaline and speed. Today, you will have the chance to participate in a guided Snowmobile Safari for 2 hours. This Snowmobile adventure offers a fantastic opportunity to learn how to master the art of driving this vehicle. During the safari, you will stop for a break to enjoy hot drinks and the silence of the wilderness. In order to drive the Snowmobile, you will need to present your International Driving License of B Category. If you don’t have a driver’s license, you will participate as a passenger. All equipment is provided on the spot. Meals: Breakfast

You can relax and let your senses rest in the calming scenery and surrounding silence while the guide drives your Husky sled. After the safari you can warm up by an open fire in the Husky yard and spend time meeting the dogs. In the evening, you will join a 3 hour guided Aurora Evening. Enjoy the fresh winter air and the chance to see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky. You will be taken by car to nearby wilderness areas with minimal or no light pollution. During the evening you will learn about Arctic nature and hear stories about the culture and history of the local people. You will also have a break to enjoy hot beverages and sweet snacks.
