After breakfast, enjoy an exciting 4 Hour Reindeer Safari in scenic surroundings. The Reindeer Sleigh is the oldest form of transportation in the North and an inherent part of Sami Culture. You will be in pairs by sled with one sled for each Reindeer. This cultural experience will also teach you about Lasso throwing, which is always the Sami way of catching their Reindeer to herd them together. In addition, you will get to know Sami Culture, the history and experience the emotional Lappish Ancestral Joik Song. To conclude this excursion, you will be served a hot meal. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Sommarøy Island by bus, where the pure Arctic atmosphere is waiting for you. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. Today, we recommend starting your day with short panoramic walk of Sommarøy. With 300 inhabitants, Sommarøy is one of the busiest Fishing Villages in the County of Troms Region. The views from Sommarøy Island are impressive and together with your tour leader you will get to know more about the history and fishing traditions of the Village. Enjoy the afternoon free at leisure. After dinner, it's time for another amazing activity, the Arctic Lights Campfire Tour. The area around Sommarøy is a great spot to search for the Northern Lights because of the desolate beaches free from light pollution. With the sound of Arctic waves crashing ashore, you are guaranteed a spectacular evening, especially if the sky is clear and the Auroras show themselves. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast this morning, transfer back to Tromsø. Upon arrival, we offer a wide selection of optional activities. You can choose to participate on a Husky Safari, which is a Dog Sledding adventure that is a real Northern experience as an optional activity. This Dog Sledding adventure is a real northern experience. You will visit a kennel outside of the city surrounded by mighty Mountains. Here, you will receive all the equipment and instructions that you need to handle the Dogs and sleds properly. After the sledding, you will return to the camp, where hot soup and drinks will be served. Later today you can enter the Polar Museum (entrance is included), which is an attraction that is dedicated to the present lives of Arctic trappers and explorers. In the evening, you will participate on a Northern Lights Cruise. This adventure takes you into the total darkness of the Arctic Fjords and Polar nights. You depart from Tromsø and set sail for the direction where the clearest weather conditions for the night has been predicted. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, your morning is free at leisure. Take a last stroll around the city or hurry to buy some last minute souvenirs. Transfer on your own to the Airport for your onward journey or return flight home (private transfer can be booked in advance). Meals: Breakfast
