Welcome to Riga! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in before meeting for a welcome meeting to kick off your adventure.
Founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, Riga is the largest of the three Baltic Capitals and a true kaleidoscope of architectural styles. Our morning walking tour takes us through the Art Nouveaux District and the Old Town, where we will discover Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Jūrmala, a vibrant Latvian seaside resort famous for its beautiful wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the evening, you have the option of attending a beautiful Organ Concert at the Dome Cathedral. Meals: Breakfast

After getting acquainted with Riga, we have the opportunity to delve into Medieval Latvia. An optional morning tour takes us to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the Town of Sigulda. We will hear the Medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before returning to Riga. In the afternoon, there is another optional excursion to visit the Ethnographical Open-Air Museum, which is a fascinating and spacious exposition of 18th Century country life. Meals: Breakfast
Our journey continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Pärnu. We will enjoy a short tour of the resort before travelling through the North Estonian forests and arriving in Tallinn in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, we will check-in to our hotel for our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Tallinn is a captivating blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban energy. In the summer, the Medieval Old Town is a bustling hub of activity with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets and charming outdoor cafés and restaurants. Our sightseeing tour will take us around the old Medieval City Walls and into the Old Town, where we will see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Medieval Old Town Hall and the Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon, an optional excursion is offered to Kadriorg Park and a visit to KUMU, the award winning new Estonian Art Museum, which showcases collections of classic and contemporary fine art. For the evening, there is an optional medieval dinner at Restaurant Maikrahv. Meals: Breakfast
Today, you have the option of taking a day excursion to Lahemaa National Park, where you will visit Palmse Manor, a memorial to the Von Pahlen Family and Sagadi Manor. The tour concludes with a visit to the charming 16th Century Vihula Manor and the Vodka Museum. After a lunch break, we will head back to Tallinn to catch the Ferry to Helsinki, enjoying a refreshing cruise through the Finnish Archipelago before we arrive. Helsinki is a city located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture and this is reflected everywhere in the green and lively Finnish Capital. A sightseeing tour takes us around the Harbours and Senate Square with the Lutheran Cathedral, up Central Mannerheim Street and past the Parliament Building, Finlandia Hall and the Sibelius Monument. We will also visit the famous Church in the Rock. In the afternoon, we will transfer to Helsinki Harbour and depart on an overnight cruise to Stockholm. In the morning, we arrive in Stockholm and begin our city sightseeing tour. Built across fourteen islands and connected by over fifty bridges, the Swedish Capital is a charming mix of history and modern elegance. Our tour will take us through the Medieval Old Town (Gamla Stan), where we will see the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral and the colourful merchant houses lining the cobbled streets. We continue past the Parliament House and along the scenic waterfront of Strandvägen. A highlight of the tour is a stop at the impressive Stockholm City Hall, known for its iconic tower and as the venue for the Nobel Prize Banquet. We will also pass through the elegant district of Östermalm and enjoy panoramic views from the Island of Södermalm. After the tour, we will check-in to our hotel. Meals: Breakfast
Today is your day free to explore Stockholm at your leisure. With its unique blend of historic charm and contemporary flair, the city offers countless opportunities for discovery. You might wish to stroll through the quaint alleyways of Gamla Stan, visit one of the many world class Museums such as the Vasa Museum or ABBA The Museum or take a scenic boat tour through the beautiful Archipelago.
