Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative will meet and greet you for your transfer by air-conditioned car to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, they will check you in and give you detailed information concerning your excursion of tomorrow.
Today after breakfast, we start exploring Ancient Egypt with a visit to the famous Pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, which was built by manual labour, is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also see the Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvellous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop. The Lion's body stretching 45 metres with its paws 15 metres long. Afterwards, we continue to visit the Egyptian Museum. Enjoy two hours spent at the richest Museum worldwide accompanied by our Guide. Enjoy his explanation about the history especially King Tut’s part with the masterpiece 'his golden mask'. After breakfast at your hotel, check-out of your hotel before you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to board your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, enjoy a visit the West Bank to see the Valley of the Kings where the Tomb of Tut-Ankh-Amun in located (the visit to this Tomb is not included). Your Guide will give you an explanation of the Tombs to be visited (entry not allowed), the beautiful Temple of Der el Bahari, which is dedicated to the Funerary Cult of Queen Hatshepsut and the Statues of Memnon. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Later, you will be picked up for your visit the Karnak Temple Complex, which is the second largest Ancient Religious Site in the world, after the Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia. Karnak was the most significant religious complex in Ancient Egypt. Everything is built at a super giant scale. From its huge decorated pillars to the Obelisks, Statues and Kiosk, the Karnak Complex will definitely leave you astonished. It took around 2,000 years to finish it completely before it was moved to Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Worship of Almighty God of the New Empire 'God Amun'. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out for your departure to Esna, which is 50 kms South and home Port of the Dahabiya. Upon arrive, embark the Dahabiya for your 5 day cruise along the Nile between Esna and Aswan. Enjoy a visit to the Esna Temple and a short walk through the local markets. Sail to El Kab, the Ancient Town of Nekheb, to visit the remains of its Temples and some of the Tombs cut into the cliffs. Set sail for a small Island where the boat will moor for the night. You will have dinner onboard the Dahabiya or on the tranquil Banks of the Nile. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, explore the rock Temple and the remains of monuments in the old quarries. While daily life on the riverbanks gets underway and the first fishermen are at work, you can relax on the sun deck while the crew sails to Edfu. Here you see the fantastically well preserved Temple of Horus, the Falcon God. The walls of the inner most part of the Temple are completely covered in texts, which actually makes it a Library carved in stone. The day ends at a small Nile Island where you have dinner around a camp fire. Overnight onboard Dahabiya. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Enjoy breakfast as we sail to Selselah Temple this morning. Here, the Nile, flowing between two Mountains ranges, is at its narrowest. You will usually be the only visitors at this fascinating site, as large Nile cruisers are not allowed to stop here. After visiting the small Temple of Horemheb, walk through the sandstone quarries where Ancient Egyptians cut stone for most of their most famous Temples. You will visit a picturesque café and enjoy tea and shisha (waterpipe). You will then sail to a picturesque riverbank where you will stop for Lunch onboard. Visit Kom Ombo Temple as well as the Temples of the Gods Sobek (Crocodile) and Haroeris. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast while the Captain sets sail for the Village of Daraw, which was once the last stop for Camel Traders from Sudan after a forty days long journey through the Libyan Desert. After a walk through the Village and Camel Market, the boat sails further towards Aswan. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Enjoy you last breakfast onboard the Dahabiya before disembarkation. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the day free at leisure. Overnight in Aswan. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport to board your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo Airport, you will be met for your transfer to the hotel for check-in and your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check-out of your hotel. Meet your Egyptologist Guide who will escort you to Siwa Oasis via El Alamein Road. Upon arrival to El Alamein, on the Mediterranean Coast, visit the World War Museum. Taste a special Seafood lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue travelling to Siwa Oasis, which takes around 6 hours to drive from El Alamein. Upon arrival in Siwa, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. Start to explore the amazing oasis, which includes lunch at local restaurant, visiting the Old Town of Shali, the Temple of Alexander the Great (the Temple of The Oracle), the Temple of Amun Ra known as the Temple of Um Ubeyda, the Mountain of the Dead (Jabal el Mawta), relaxing at Cleopatra Spring and see a once in the lifetime Sunset view at Fitnas Island. Afterwards, return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, enjoy another Full Day Tour with lunch as a local restaurant visiting the Great Sand Sea a beautiful lake in the middle of the Desert, the sea the Flamingo Birds if you are lucky, the Dakrour Mountain, a Siwa Sandboarding experience, the Hot Spring renowned as Bir Wahid and another amazing sunset at the Great Sand Sea in the middle of the dunes while having Bedouin Tea. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
