Today, arrive at the Athens Airport where you will be welcomed by an assistant and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Athens.
Today is dedicated to exploring the City of Athens. We begin with a panoramic tour to the most important monuments and landmarks of the City including the Panathinaikos Stadium, the Zappeion, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann's House, the Academy, the University, the National Library and the Old Parliament. Afterwards, we head for a guided visit to the Acropolis including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon and the Erechtheion. Our guided visit continues to the Acropolis Museum where findings from the area, such as the Caryatides, have found there home. The remainder of the afternoon at leisure to explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city and enjoy some shopping at Ermou Street. Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast we depart towards the Peloponnese. Our first stop will be at the impressive Corinth Canal before continuing to Epidaurus, which is the most important healing centre in antiquity. Today, it is famous for its best preserved Ancient Theatre with its unique acoustics. Our journey continues for a short stop in Nafplio then Mycenae, 'Rich in Gold' as Homer mentions, to visit the Cyclopean Walls and the Tomb of Agamemnon with the famous Lion's Gate. In the afternoon, we continue to Olympia for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Built on the banks of the River Alfios, Olympia is beautiful, green and placid. Today, enjoy a tour through the remains of the Ancient Olympia Complex, home of the original Olympic Games, including the Temple of Zeus, the Palaestra and Phidias's Workshop. We continue to the local Museum, one of the richest in Greece, with its impressive Statue of Hermes of Praxiteles. After the visit, you will be separated from the rest of the group and take a private transfer to the Port of Kyllini where you will embark on the local ferry to Zakynthos. Upon arrival at Zakynthos Port, you will take another private transfer to our hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Zakynthos. Meals: Breakfast
Early this morning, you will join a unique excursion. You will be travelling by boat around the North shores of the Island to the famous 'Navagio' Beach, which is among the most photographed beaches in the world. Our boat excursion will continue to the famous 'Blue Caves' where you will see the unique blue colours and take a dip in the caves. Be alert as you may spot Dolphins or Sea Turtles as we cruise back to the Port. You will be returned to the hotel and rest of the afternoon at leisure. The morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Port for your return Ferry to Kyllini Port. Upon arrival at Kyllini Port, you will be transferred to Olympia to rejoin the tour for the remainder of the Classical Greece Sites tour. This afternoon, your journey continues to central Greece driving over the impressive Rio-Antirrio Bridge, to Delphi for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Built on the slopes of Mount Parnassos overlooking vast Olive Groves and the Corinthian Gulf, Delphi used to be the most sacred spot in the world and a Pilgrimage centre for many Centuries in the antiquity. Today, you will admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, walk the Sacred way and visit the Temple of Apollo, which is home of Pythia 'the Oracle'. We also visit the local Museum with the famous Bronze Statue of the Charioteer. In the afternoon we will continue to Kalambaka for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning, we will visit Meteora, which is one of the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and part of UNESCO’s List of World Heritage Monuments. Admire the amazing rock formations, like Towers of Sandstone, that stand ageless and have provided a sacred retreat for Monks over the Centuries. A number of Monasteries are hidden on top of Meteora and the view over the plain is breathtaking. Afterwards, we return back to Athens. On the way, we will make a short stop at Thermopylae to admire the Statue of Leonidas King of Sparta, commemorating the battle of the 300 against the Persians. Overnight stay in Athens. Enjoy breakfast before you are transferred to Lavrion Port to embark on the 'Celestyal Discovery' for your 'Iconic Aegean' Cruise. Arrival in Mykonos in the afternoon. Enjoy some free time to explore the bustling Town of Mykonos until late in the evening. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early in the morning you will be arriving at the Port of Kuşadası. You may join an optional excursion to 'Ancient Ephesus through the Ages'. Around midday, the ship will set sail again for a short trip to Patmos. Do no miss the optional excursion to the famous Monastery of St. John and the Grotto of the Apocalypse. Today, the cruise continues to Heraklion arriving early in the morning. Explore the City or join an optional excursion visiting the Minoan Palace of Knossos with the legendary Minotaur. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the unique Island of Santorini. You may choose to take the Cable Car up to Fira Town or follow an optional excursion to 'Spectacular Oia village perched on the Caldera rim'. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early this morning, our cruise continues arriving at Lavrion Port. Enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking the ship and transferring to the airport for your onward journey or departure flight home. Meals: Breakfast
