Today, depart from your hotel in Madrid (please refer to your documentation for detailed departure information). Our tour will continue to Salamanca, where upon arrival, you can enjoy some free time to explore the University and World Heritage City of great architectural and artistic wealth. We will depart for the Portuguese border until we reach Porto. Upon arrival, we will check in to the hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, which is considered to be a World Heritage City. Admire the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara Church. Afterwards, enjoy a different perspective of the city along the River Douro and discover the historic heritage by visiting one of the well known Port Wine Cellars with a Wine tasting included. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, we will depart for Coimbra, which is home to one of the oldest Universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace before we continue on to Fátima. Fátima is the centre of the Christian Faith and World Pilgrimage Sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria place, where the Virgin Mary appeared. See the Chapel of the Apparitions, the heart of the sanctuary with the Tombs of the Three Shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. At night there is the possibility to attend the Procession of the Candles. Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing to the Batalha Monastery, which is a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Afterwards, we continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré to enjoy some free time before continuing to Alcobaça, a World Heritage Site, to visit the XII C. Afterwards, we depart for Lisbon and check-in to our accommodation for our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a city tour of Lisbon, formerly known as Olissipo, including its main squares and avenues, the Belem Tower, the Jerónimos Monastery (exterior) and the Monument to the Discoverers. The afternoon is free to explore the city's charming corners such as the Alfama District or take the optional excursion to Sintra and Cascais (World Heritage Sites). Meals: Breakfast
This morning, we depart to Merida, a World Heritage City. Merida, the Capital of Extremadura, is known for its rich historical heritage including its well preserved Roman ruins, the Theatre, the Amphitheatre, the Roman Bridge and more.
