After breakfast, start your tour visiting the city of Málaga going up to the top of 'Gibralfaro' hill to visit the Castle that offers stunning panoramic views of the city and coastline, best enjoyed from its ancient defensive walls and the Gibralfaro viewpoint. Explore the Castle's Moorish history, visit the small Museum showcasing military artifacts and walk along its scenic pathways. The views here are breathtaking, making it one of the best spots for photography. Return downtown to discover most of Málaga's major attractions on an immersive walking tour of the city. Begin at the centrally located Plaza de la Merced and explore the Málaga Cathedral, nicknamed 'La Manquita' for its missing tower. Discover the city's past with a visit to the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba. In the afternoon visit the Picasso Museum, a must visit for art lovers, showcasing over 200 works by Pablo Picasso, who was a Málaga native. Housed in the Palacio de Buenavista, a beautiful 16th Century building, the Museum offers paintings, sculptures, sketches and ceramics spanning Picasso's artistic evolution. It also features temporary exhibitions, a library and a charming courtyard. After the visit you have free time to immerse yourself in Málaga's daily life. Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy an excursion to the Gorge Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a natural beauty spot, placed in the centre of the province, between the towns of Alora, Antequera and Ardales. This is one of the most beautiful spots of the Málaga Mountains. Between its steep and considerably high walls, the River Guadalhorce flows, after having passed through the reservoirs El Chorro (The Spurt), Guadalhorce, Guadalteba and Gaitanejo. Next, hike El Caminito de Rey from the Count of Guadalhorce Reservoir to its end at El Chorro Dam. Placed in unique natural surroundings, the path stretches between two gorges, canyons and a large valley, along pathways or boardwalks. All the texts about the path, as well as the photos and videos that follow, were created after many visits of our experts to the site and their hard work that had lasted for several months. The route is linear, not circular and it goes in one direction, downwards from the north to the south. Its beginning is in the Town of Ardales and the end in Álora. This route is almost 8 kms long and takes from three to four hours to be crossed. As we consider it to be rather unique, we decided to describe all of its parts so you could understand what can be seen or felt along the route. Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today's outing is to the fascinating city of Granada. First of all we take a walk through the most interesting areas with our guide and then there is some free time in the city centre for you to do your own thing. There are many great sights but Spain's first Renaissance Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, which contains the Tombs of Ferdinand and Isabella and the Alcaicería really should not be missed. After lunch we head up to the world famous Alhambra, where a local guide will show us the unique architectural treasures of this magnificent Fortress and also the 'Generalife', the spectacularly situated Summer Palace with its beautiful fountains and gardens. Buffet breakfast at hotel and check out. Transfer to Seville and enjoy a half day walking tour. Meet with your official guide in Puerta del Alcazar and visit Alcazar, Barrio de Santa Cruz, Cathedral and Giralda. Today, we visit the legendary Jewish Quarter (well known from the operas Carmen, Don Juan and The Barber of Seville). As the Jews were expelled from the Kingdom by Queen Isabella I in 1492, you have some idea of the age of these narrow lanes and the delightful little squares redolent with the scent of the orange trees. We also have the chance to visit the world's largest Gothic Cathedral, the burial place of Christopher Columbus. The enormous gilded altarpiece is the most impressive one of its kind in Spain and there are innumerable priceless works of art to be seen around the building. The Moorish Church Tower, 'La Giralda', is 100 metres high, 800 years old and is the symbolic landmark of Seville. Afterwards, we will have free time for lunch and then we will enjoy a cruise trough the Guadalquivir. Tonight, enjoy a Flamenco Show and Dinner. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy an excursion to Córdoba, once the biggest city in Europe. We take a walk through the well maintained, historical city centre which has very crooked streets as the Moors designed them to confuse any enemies who might enter the city. The beautiful 'Calle de las Flores', The Street of Flowers, is an excellent example of traditional Moorish street design. Then we visit the 1,000 year old Mosque, which is the second largest in the world. After the Moors were expelled from Spain, King Charles V built a Catholic Church inside this Mosque, it really has to be seen to be believed! Córdoba is also proud of having the most beautiful 'patios' in Spain. Return to Seville for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
