Today, we depart heading west via the highway towards Extremadura, the birthplace of several explorers of the New World. Upon arrival in Merida, the Capital of Extremadura, it was declared a World Heritage Site and is known for its rich historical heritage including its well preserved Roman ruins, the Theatre, the Amphitheatre, the Roman Bridge and more. Enjoy some free time before continuing on to Córdoba, which was once the Capital of the Caliphate. Upon arrival, check-in for your overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a city tour including its impressive Mosque, which today is a Cathedral, as well as other sites that will ease your mind and spirit while strolling through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a morning panoramic city tour visiting the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz Quarter (a natural scenario of 'Carmen' as well as a precisely where the myth of 'Don Juan' developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavours of this active full of light city. Tonight, there is an optional Flamenco Show. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart Seville and drive south passing typical villages until we reach Ronda. Here, you will have some free time at leisure to admire this town of Celtic origin and marvel at the view of the valley and the mountain range. Afterwards, we continue on to Costa del Sol, which is one of the most modern and important tourist areas. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day free at leisure. After breakfast, we depart towards the city of Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. We will visit the world famous Alhambra Complex and Generalife Gardens, which have inspired several authors with its sound and sights such as the 'Tales of the Alhambra' by Washington Irving. This evening offers an optional Flamenco Zambra show. Meals: Breakfast
