Upon arrival in Lisbon, you will have two options to take either the public bus or private transfer from Lisbon along the southwest coast to Vila Nova de Milfontes, which is a beautiful, whitewashed town nestled between the Mira River estuary and the ocean. This is your first port of call along the coast offering incredible sunsets.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Porto Covo for your hike along the beautiful Alentejana Coast passing through the Fortress of Pessegueiro. See the amazing 'cordon dunaire' in Malhao, pine forests and picture postcard beaches. Overnight stay in Vila Nova de Milfontes. Meals: Breakfast

Today, the trail heads south from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Almograve. You cross the Mira estuary on a traditional boat before continuing onwards following the cliffs, beaches, and mimosa forests towards the small village of Almograve. Overnight stay in Almograve. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, today's walk will take you to the Old Lighthouse of Cap Sardão, past small fishing ports, red sand dunes and pine forests. The high cliffs that you will see throughout the day are exposed to the salt spray of the ocean and are nesting places for over 20 species of bird! Upon arrival in the small seaside resort of Zambujeira do Mar, check into the hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Zambujeira do Mar to see the Chapel of Our Lady of the Sea, clinging to a rocky outcrop that dominates the beach. This superb coastal hike follows the fishermen's paths that run along the cliffs through multicoloured and fragrant moors. This section of the walk lies between the two regions of Alentejo and the Algarve. The view from the cliffs down towards the mouth of the river Odeceixe, with its white wavy sand banks and turquoise water, is a real highlight of the walk. You will then stay overnight in Odeceixe. After breakfast, take a transfer (30 min) to Rogil. Your walk starts along a 'Levada', an irrigation channel. The water from the Levada is used in part for agricultural purposes. This particular region is famous for sweet potato, cereal and vines. A walk through a beautiful pine forest leads you to the stunning Amoreira Beach before the trail continues through the hills towards Aljezur, which is the Capital of the Vicentine Coast. Here, admire its narrow streets and Medieval Castle. You will then stay overnight in Aljezur. Meals: Breakfast
Today, the Moorish Castle offers a beautiful morning view of the small town of Aljezur and the Amoreira Valley. Our journey today takes us through the valleys and hills before reaching the small port and surf spot of Arrifana. From Arrifana we continue to the spectacular point of Atalaia. The ruins of an Ancient Sufi place of Worship add a mystical touch to the natural beauty of this place. The hike ends in the lovely, small village of Monte Clérigo with its beautiful beach. Take a transfer back to Aljezur (20 min) for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check out of your hotel for the end of your trip. You have the option to either take the public bus or private transfer to Lisbon for your onward journey or departure flight home. Meals: Breakfast
