Today, enjoy a day discovering the City of Évora, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a mosaic of culture, history and traditions. We meet at Praça do Marquês de Pombal Lisbon at 09:00am before departing from Lisbon, crossing the Bridge over the Tagus River. Through a picturesque landscape of Cork trees, Olive Groves and Vineyards, we glimpse the City of Évora with its white washed houses and historic walls. We will take a Walking Tour through the narrow streets of this City, traveling back in time as we visit some of its main landmarks such as the Roman Temple of Évora, the Roman-Gothic Cathedral, the Church of São Francisco with its Chapel of Bones and the University. The visit will also allow us to enjoy the wide variety of handcrafts the Alentejo Region offers including the famous cork, ceramic and copper items. You will also have the chance to experience the richness and diversity of the products used in preparing one of Portugal’s most delicious cuisines. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the City further. We suggest a gourmet tasting of Wine, Olive Oil and Cheese.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before spending some free time in the morning. Afterwards, we will depart through a relaxing landscape towards Beja, where the most imposing Tower of a Medieval Castle in Portugal dominates the City and the region. We then cross the small Mountain ranges until we reach the Algarve, where, among Orange Groves, we find Silves, which is crowned on the Hilltop by the Moorish Castle and the memory of the old Cork Industry. From here, we continue passing through Praia da Rocha, arriving in Lagos, where we will meet the sea. Overnight stay in Lago. Meals: Breakfast
Today we will stop at Ponta da Piedade to admire the stunning rock formations shaped by the sea and time. Afterwards, we head towards Sagres, the site of the mythical 'Nautical School' of Prince Henry the Navigator, who 'opened the World to the World'. Afterwards we visit Cabo de São Vicente, the South Western most point of Europe. We return to Lagos, a cosmopolitan Algarve City with a Marina and Fishing Port, the perfect place to savour delicious Seafood, Fish and Almond-based sweets. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon free at leisure. Meals: Breakfast
After one last glance at the sea, bid farewell to the Algarve as we begin our return journey, stopping in the City of Setúbal. This Port and industrial City is located on the left bank of the Sado River Estuary, overlooking the beautiful Troia Peninsula. Afterwards, we continue to cross the Natural Park of Serra da Arrábida, known for its rare vegetation and unique landscapes. Crossing one of the Bridges over the Tagus River, we return to Lisbon, which is the end of our services. Make your own way to Lisbon Airport for your onward journey or return flight home (not included, at your own expense). Meals: Breakfast
