Upon arrival at Porto airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay. Welcome to Porto, the second largest City in Portugal. This City has a different charm, with fog in the mornings, fascinating sunsets on the Banks of the Douro River, colourful streets and tiled houses.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. After breakfast, we will start the Walking Tour in the Historic Centre. We will begin in Santa Catarina, one of the busiest streets in Porto. Going down we will go by Bolhão, the most emblematic Market in the City. São Bento Station is next, one of the most beautiful Stations in the world where you can see the magnificent tile panels that line it’s walls. Going down the City Centre on the way to the Clergy Tower (exterior) we will admire the Lello Library, the famous Library of Harry Potter Story (exterior). Lunch is on your own. After lunch we will head to Ribeira, one of the oldest and most typical places in the City. Located on the Banks of the Douro, it is famous for its’ old colourful buildings, glued together and a mandatory walk in the City. We invite you to enjoy a 6th Bridges Boat Trip (included) on the Douro River and admire the landscape of Porto. Then, we will visit a Cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia where the famous Porto ages (visit and wine tasting included). Afterwards, you will taken back to your hotel for your overnight stay. Welcome to Lisbon, one of the oldest and liveliest Cities in Europe, where locals and foreigners mingle in the narrow streets. Starting this day we will begin our journey in the Belém neighbourhood with a Panoramic Tour going by the Jerónimos Monastery (exterior), the splendour of Manueline Art and the Belém Tower (exterior), a symbol of a country focused on the sea and the discovery of the world. Finally, you will see the exterior of the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a monumental sculpture next to the Tejo River that celebrates the golden age of national history. During the visit we will make a quick stop for you to taste the famous 'pastel of Belém', a typical Pastry of Lisbon (included). Enjoy some time for lunch on your own (not included). Afterwards, we will make our way through the narrow, cobbled streets of Alfama, the oldest District in Lisbon, with its whitewashed houses and traditional Fado Music echoing from hidden Taverns, offering an authentic taste of Lisbon's soul. From here, you are invited to the Belvedere of Nossa Senhora do Monte Santa Luzia, a breathtaking landscape over Alfama. Meals: Breakfast
