After breakfast in hotel, depart Palermo for Monreale, a gem located on the hills overlooking Palermo. Here, you will visit the magnificent Arab-Norman Cathedral, famous for its extraordinary Byzantine Mosaics. The beauty and majesty of the Cathedral will leave you breathless. The tour continues with the visit of the Cloister with its finely carved columns and a lush garden. Afterwards, we continue goes on to Palermo, a city located at the foot of Monte Pellegrino. Rich in history and culture, Palermo is a true Mosaic of architectural styles, which is the result of the overlapping of different historical periods. The visit will begin with the Cathedral, a jewel that combines Norman, Arab and Baroque influences, reflecting the complexity and richness of Sicilian history. Afterwards, visit of the Martorana Church, which is famous for its beautiful Mosaics and the harmonious fusion of Byzantine and Baroque architecture. Admire the Cappella Palatina, located inside the Palazzo dei Normanni. Stop for a typical Sicilian lunch in a local restaurant. The afternoon will be dedicated to a pleasant walk in the historic centre of Palermo. You will be fascinated by the Teatro Massimo and the Fountain in Pretoria Square, a Renaissance monument of great importance. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today begins with a visit of the beautiful Cefalù, which is a picturesque coastal town famous for its Norman Cathedral and an architectural masterpiece that will immerse you in the Medieval Sicilian history. Enjoy some free time to walk along the streets of the Old Town. Alternatively, it is possible to visit the renowned Mandralisca Museum. Lunch stop in a local restaurant before departing for Catania, which is located at the foot of Mount Etna. Catania is a vibrant city, rich in history. The Old Town is characterised by late Baroque architecture built with the use of Lava stone, which gives the buildings a characteristic dark colour. You will cross Duomo Square, where you can admire the Cathedral and the Elephant of Lava stone, which are both symbols of the city. The walking tour continues to University Square, an elegant space surrounded by historical and academic buildings and Via dei Crociferi, the heart of the Baroque in Catania. Here, admire splendid Palaces and Churches including the S. Benedict Monastery. Stop in a historic bar in the centre to enjoy one of the local specialities, 'Granita & Brioche'. After breakfast, enjoy a short visit of the famous 'Pescheria' of Catania, the lively Fish Market. Afterwards, we depart for Mount Etna, the highest active Volcano in Europe. Etna offers spectacular landscapes with Lava flows, Craters and rich Biodiversity. The wild nature and the breathtaking views will give a unique and unforgettable experience. You will reach the Rifugio Sapienza, the starting point for the exploration of the 'Crateri Silvestri', old inactive craters. During the tour, there will be the opportunity for a tasting of artisanal Honey and other local products. Continuing on, we depart for Taormina, which is one of the pearls of the Mediterranean. This charming city, overlooking the sea, is famous for its timeless beauty and spectacular views. Lunch will be in a restaurant in the Old Town before visiting the fascinating Greco-Roman Theatre, which offers a breathtaking view of the sea and Mount Etna, creating a perfect combination between art, history and nature. Enjoy free time to walk along the narrow streets of the historic centre of Taormina or to go shopping in local craft shops. Afterwards, we return in Catania. Dinner will be on your own.
