The day begins with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Syracuse, one of the most fascinating Cities in Sicily, rich in history and culture. The first stop will be the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. Here, you will explore the magnificent Greek Theatre, one of the largest and best preserved in the World, a true jewel of antiquity. The tour will continue with a visit of the Roman Amphitheatre, which is a testimony of the grandeur and power of Ancient Rome. You will then walk among the evocative Latomie of Paradise, Ancient Stone Quarries rich in charm and history and conclude with the imposing Ear of Dionysius. You will move to the picturesque Island of Ortigia, the historic heart of Syracuse. The visit will start from Piazza Duomo, admiring the splendid Cathedral, a masterpiece of Sicilian Baroque, built on the remains of a Greek Temple. You will then walk through the Baroque streets until you reach the Port, where it is possible to admire the beauty of the Arethusa’s Fountain. Enjoy lunch on your own. In the afternoon, transfer to Noto, which is one of the pearls of the Sicilian Baroque. Here, there will be the opportunity to admire magnificent architectural masterpieces of the 18th Century, walking through the elegant streets of the Old Town. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by departure for Modica, a splendid Baroque Town included in the UNESCO Listed Val di Noto. The City enchants visitors with its elegant Churches, historic Palaces, picturesque narrow streets winding their way up the Hillside, striking panoramic views and a captivating atmosphere steeped in history and local traditions. Here, we will stop at the renowned Sabadì Chocolate Shop, where you will have the opportunity to taste the famous artisan Chocolate, awarded internationally and certified I.G.P., as well as Slow Food. Lunch break at a traditional local restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour continues to Piazza Armerina to visit the famous Villa Romana del Casale, an Archaeological treasure renowned for its Artistic Heritage. You will admire the extraordinary mosaics that adorn this Ancient residence, a unique testimony of Roman life and art. Transfer to Agrigento for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. The Wine Tour starts in front of the majestic giant vats of the 19th, still used for the refinement of Marsala Wine. In the afternoon, walk through the historic centre of Palermo to admire the Teatro Massimo, one of the largest Opera Houses in Europe and the Fountain in Pretoria Square, a Renaissance masterpiece that adorns the heart of Palermo with its extraordinary beauty. The day starts with a visit of the charming Seaside Village of Cefalù, famous for its Norman Cathedral, an architectural jewel that dominates the landscape with its majestic Towers. Enjoy some free time to walk through the cobbled streets of the Old Town or visit the renowned Mandralisca Museum, which houses a collection of art and Archaeology. Enjoy a lunch stop in a local restaurant to taste the delights of Sicilian cuisine before departing for Catania. Here, your visit will start in the historic centre with its unique and unmistakable late Baroque style with the use of the lava stone of Etna. You will cross Duomo Square, the beating heart of the City, admiring the Cathedral of Sant'Agata and the famous Elephant of lava stone, a symbol of Catania. You will continue towards University Square and walk along Via dei Crociferi, the heart of the Baroque in Catania, where stands the Monastery of San Benedetto, a Baroque building rich in history and grandeur. This morning after a short visit of the famous 'pescheria', the Ancient Fish Market in Catania, the tour will continue with an Excursion to the Mount Etna, the highest (c. 3,350 m) Volcano in Europe and one of the largest and most active in the World, nowadays UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its regional Park protects 59.000 hectares of unique geology, flora and fauna, Villages and Farms and traditional methods of Forestry, Beekeeping, Wine manufacture, Stonework and Carpentry. Views of stunning landscapes will amaze you heading to Rifugio Sapienza. You will reach the 'Crateri Silvestri', small Volcanic cones now inactive, surrounded by Ancient lava flows. The view beyond the Mountain’s hundreds of subsidiary cones and craters, can extend across the whole of Sicily, the Aeolian Islands and Calabria. The spectacle is unique! You will have the chance to enjoy the local homemade Honey and some typical products of the area. The tour continues towards Taormina, where you will have lunch in a lovely restaurant in the historic centre of the City. Taormina is a charming Town renowned for its magnificent position above the sea commanding a celebrated view of Etna. A Full Day dedicated to the legendary filming locations of The Godfather. After breakfast, you will travel through the Hills above the Coast to Savoca, a place that seems suspended in time. You will walk through the very same narrow streets as Michael Corleone, played by Al Pacino, and visit the Church of Santa Lucia, where his character’s Wedding scene was Filmed. A stop at the legendary Bar Vitelli is a must, perfect for taking a souvenir photo. Enjoy lunch at leisure. You will then continue to Forza d’Agrò, a Medieval gem that served as a backdrop for Coppola’s iconic Film and will enchant you with its narrow streets, stone houses and atmosphere of times gone by. The journey continues to the Aeolian Islands without a Guide or Tour Escort. After breakfast, take a private transfer to Milazzo and boarding of the hydrofoil to Lipari, the largest Island in the Aeolian Archipelago. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and enjoy some time at leisure for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Tenuta di Castellaro, a renowned Winery on the Island for an evocative experience combining Wine, landscape and nature. After visiting the Winery and taking a walk through the Vineyards, you will enjoy a memorable Sunset Wine Tasting, surrounded by a unique setting with views of the nearby Islands. Today will be dedicated to discovering two of the most fascinating islands in the Aeolian archipelago. Starting from the sea, you will admire Lipari’s most striking scenery: the white Pumice Cave, the spectacular volcanic cliffs, the pristine bays, and the famous Faraglioni. Afterwards, you will sail along the coast of Salina, considered the greenest and most elegant of the Aeolian Islands. You will explore charming villages, spectacular coastal landscapes and scenery shaped by centuries of volcanic activity and Mediterranean traditions. The first stop will be Santa Marina di Salina, where you will have the opportunity to visit the island’s main municipality. Sailing along the eastern side of the island, you will admire the Malvasia vineyards, the village of Capo Faro and the town of Malfa, stopping in the beautiful bay of Pollara, made famous by Massimo Troisi’s film Il Postino. You will then stop in Lingua, a picturesque fishing village, where, in addition to enjoying lunch at leisure in the local restaurants and the delightful small coves, it will be possible to visit the salt lake that gave the island its name. On the way back, you will admire Lipari’s most beautiful caves and enjoy one last swim at Vinci Beach, opposite the Faraglioni sea stacks. Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we will set sail for Panarea, the smallest and most exclusive of the Aeolian Islands. Here, you will visit the Natural Bay of Calajunco with the Prehistoric Village of Capo Milazzese located just above it, and stop at the nearby Cala Zimmari. You will then continue with a Panoramic Tour among the Islets, visiting the Grotta degli Innamorati before reaching the Port, where there will be time for lunch at leisure, a stroll through the elegant narrow streets and a visit to the Prehistoric Village. You will continue towards Stromboli, the Island with a primordial soul, where you will be able to witness one of the most beautiful natural spectacles, the glowing eruptions of the Volcano, which is visible from the sea during a Sunset Cruise beneath the Sciara del Fuoco. Once on the Island, you will have free time for dinner and to stroll among the shops and magnificent gardens or for a swim in the cobalt blue waters. Afterwards, return to Lipari late in the evening and overnight stay at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast
