Continue to Ortigia Island, the enchanting historical centre of Syracuse. It is a maze of elegant Baroque Palaces, hidden courtyards and piazzas facing the sea. After breakfast, travel to Mount Etna, Europe's highest and most active Volcano. Journey through spectacular Volcanic landscapes of black lava fields, Vineyards and Ancient Forests to reach approx. 1,800 metres above sea level. Visit the Silvestri Craters and admire breathtaking views stretching from the Volcano to the Ionian Coastline. Breakfast at the hotel we depart to Piazza Armerina. Here, visit the extraordinary Villa Romana del Casale, which is one of the finest Roman Villas ever discovered and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its remarkable mosaics, among the best preserved in the World, vividly depict Mythological scenes, hunting expeditions and daily life in Ancient Rome. Free time for lunch before continuing to Agrigento. Visit the legendary Valley of the Temples, considered one of the greatest Archaeological Sites in the Mediterranean. Walking among the Golden Temples at sunset offers one of Sicily's most unforgettable experiences. Highlights include the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Juno and the Temple of Hercules. After breakfast, depart Agrigento to Sciacca. Far from mass tourism, this charming Fishing Town reveals an authentic side of Sicily. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before discovering Palermo, a fascinating City where Arab, Norman, Byzantine and Spanish influences coexist. After breakfast, we depart for Erice, one of Sicily's most enchanting Medieval Hilltop Towns. Stroll through its charming, cobbled streets, admire the beautifully preserved historic centre and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Western Sicilian Coastline. The Town's timeless atmosphere, Ancient Churches and traditional Artisan Shops make it a truly memorable destination. Afterwards, continue to Marsala, famous Worldwide for its Fortified Wine and Maritime heritage. Visit a prestigious Winery and enjoy a Guided Cellar Tour, a Wine tasting and a light Sicilian lunch. In the afternoon, discover the magical landscape of the Stagnone Lagoon. Walk among the historic Salt Pans, where sea salt has been harvested for centuries. Admire one of Sicily's most iconic landscapes, especially spectacular in the golden afternoon light. Dinner and evening at leisure in Palermo. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After buffet breakfast, depart Palermo (without your Guide) to Milazzo. Upon arrival, board at the Port of Milazzo for Lipari by hydrofoil. Arrival on the Island of Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Archipelago, where you will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy free time to visit the delightful Village of Lipari with lunch on your own. In the afternoon, take a Taxi Tour of the Island of Lipari. Free time for dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast
After a buffet breakfast, the morning is at your disposal with lunch at your own pace. Late in the morning, depart by boat to Panarea and Stromboli. First stop in Panarea, where it will be possible to visit the small Village with a pleasant walk along the streets among the white Aeolian style houses. Afterwards, continue with the boat to Stromboli, the Island, defined as the wildest Island because it seems to preserve its bond with nature and with the Volcano, called by the locals 'Iddu'. Enjoy some free time to visit. Once back on the boat, you will continue until you reach the 'Sciara del fuoco', a ridge of the crater from where the lava descends. From the boat it will also be possible to witness the evocative eruptions of the Volcano that follow one another with intervals of about fifteen minutes. Return to Lipari in the evening for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After a buffet breakfast at hotel, depart by boat to Salina. After a stop in the centre of S. Marina, continue by boat to circumnavigate the Island and swim in Pollara, the Beach of the famous film 'Il Postino'. Free time for lunch before continuing to Lingua where there is a Salt Lake from which salt was extracted in Ancient times (hence the name of the Island). Return to Lipari in the afternoon. Enjoy free time at disposal for shopping and dinner. Overnight stay in Lipari. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the Port of Lipari to board the Hydrofoil for Milazzo. Upon arrival, transfer to Catania for your overnight stay. Lunch and dinner are free at leisure on your own. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel for the end of your tour. Make your own way to the airport for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
