At approx. 06:30am you will be picked up directly from your hotel and take you to the bus departure point. Departing from Rome at 07:30am, enjoy a comfortable drive through the Italian Countryside with a short stop along the way before continuing South towards the Ancient City of Pompeii, set at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Upon arrival to Pompeii, explore this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site with an expert Licensed Guide on a comprehensive Archaeological Tour. Enjoy an indepth 2.5 Hour exploration of the Site, designed to let you fully immerse yourself in the history and daily life of Ancient Rome. Walk along the original streets, discover remarkably preserved Houses, Bakeries and Temples and admire frescoes and mosaics that have survived for centuries. Spend a leisurely day exploring Sorrento, the jewel of the Sorrentine Peninsula, famous for the cultivation of Oranges, Lemons and Olive Trees. Return to your hotel in Sorrento for dinner and your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, check-out for and embark to Capri Island. Depending on weather conditions, you will take a boat ride to the popular and dreamy 'Grotta Azzurra' (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. After visiting the Blue Grotto, continue exploring at your own pace. Wander through Capri’s charming streets, browse its elegant boutiques, admire the picturesque scenery or simply relax in one of its inviting cafés. There will also be time for lunch (not included). Set out early today to discover the beauty of Capri at your own pace. Explore the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful island or take a swim in the gulf of Naples. If the excursion to the Blue Grotto was not possible on day 3 due to sea conditions, you may choose to take the rowboat excursion today. Return to your hotel for your last evening in Capri. After breakfast, we depart to Sorrento by ferry. Once on the mainland, you will board a coach for Positano, driving along the Amalfi Coast on the most famous road in the Campania region. Upon arrival in Positano, check-in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, see all that Positano has to offer as you set off to explore the ancient fishermen’s village. Known for its cubic Empire houses perched upon cliffs looking over the turquoise water, Positano is the most well known summer resort area on the whole Peninsula. Walk to the heart of town on Via Pasitea and weave your way through the city’s narrow streets, terraces and gardens overlooking the Bay. Be sure to buy one of the straw handbags or handmade sandals for which Positano is famous. Return to your hotel for one last overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
