Upon arrival to Bari airport early this morning, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Gioia del Colle for your overnight stay. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
After breakfast this morning, meet in the hotel lobby at 08:30am to embark on a walking tour of Matera at 09:15am. In Matera, you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cave Houses and rocky Churches where you will have some free time to stop. Afterwards, you will go on a bread tasting in the ancient centre of Altamura, which is a town famous for its baking traditions. Lunch will be served in a restaurant before a guided tour of Gioia del Colle to see the Castle, Museum and historical Quarter. After the tour, return to your hotel of your overnight stay. This morning after breakfast, meet in the hotel lobby by 09:00am to depart on a visit to Polignano a Mare and its wonderful sea at 09:45am. Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour of Monopoli, which is a seaside town that features a waterfront, Cathedral and whitewashed houses. Enjoy lunch in a 'slow food' restaurant before taking a guided tour of a family run winery in the country side of Gioia del Colle with tasting on 'Primitivo' wine. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Meeting in the hotel lobby at 08:30am, you will depart on a visit to Trani, which is a little fishing port. Here, you will see the Templar Knight's Church and the historical Quarter. From here we continue on a guided tour of Barletta featuring Fredrick II's Castle, Norman Cathedral and the Medieval Historical Centre. Enjoy some time for lunch in a typical countryside restaurants. Afterwards we return to Gioia del Colle where the rest of the day is free at leisure. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today, meet in the lobby at 08:45 before departing for a Mozzarella and Burreta Cheese making demonstration at a local dairy farm at 09:00am. Afterwards, enjoy a cooking class in a typical 'masseria' in the countryside. You will pick the vegetables from their garden and prepare hand made pasta. Lunch will be at the masseria after your cooking class. From here you will embark on a guided tour of Alberobello. Walk amongst the Trulli and the historical Quarter before returning to the hotel in Gioia del Colle this evening. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
This morning meet in the hotel lobby at 07:30am for your guided tour of Lecce. Here, enjoy a walk amongst the most famous Baroque city in Italy seeing its wonderful Churches, Monuments with never ending detail and Old Roman Theatres in he middle of the historical centre. Afterwards, you will visit Otranto, which is a lively coastal village to see the largest mosaic in Europe before having lunch in a family run restaurant. Return to Gioia del Colle for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast, meet in the hotel lobby at 09:15am to head to Locorotondo, which is a lovely white town in the Itria Valley, for a walking tour. From here you will head to Martina Franca, which is the Queen of Baroque towns in Puglia before departing to Speziale for lunch in a 'slow food' restaurant. After lunch you will visit Ostuni, which is a charming place located on the hilltop containing a labyrinth of lanes lines with houses painted in white lime. Return to Gioia del Colle for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast at the hotel, meet in the lobby by 10:00am for your transfer to Bari airport for your onward journey or return flight home. Meals: Breakfast
