Today is dedicated to exploring the City of Athens. We begin with a panoramic tour to the most important monuments and landmarks of the city including the Panathinaikos Stadium, the Zappeion, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann's House, the Academy, the University, the National Library and the Old Parliament. Next, we head for a guided visit to the Acropolis including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon and the Erechtheion. Our guided visit continues to the Acropolis Museum, where findings from the area, such as Caryatides, have found their home. The remainder of the afternoon is free at leisure to explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city and enjoy some shopping at Ermou Street. Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, we depart towards Peloponnese. Our first stop will be to admire the impressive Corinth Canal before continuing to Epidaurus, which is the most important healing centre in antiquity. Today, it is famous due to its best preserved Ancient Theatre with its unique acoustics. Our journey takes us to Nafplio for a short stop before continuing to Mycenae, 'Rich in Gold' as Homer mentions, for a visit of the Cyclopean Walls and the Tomb of Agamemnon with the famous Lion's Gate. In the afternoon, we will continue to Olympia for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Built on the Banks of the River Alfios, Olympia is beautiful, green and placid. Today, enjoy a tour through the remains of the Ancient Olympia Complex, home of the original Olympic Games, including the Temple of Zeus, the Palaestra and Phidias's Workshop. We will also visit the local Museum, which is one of the richest in Greece, with the impressive Statue of Hermes of Praxiteles. In the afternoon, we will continue onwards, over the impressive Rio-Antirrio Bridge, arriving in Delphi for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Delphi, on the slopes of Mount Parnassos overlooking vast Olive Groves and the Corinthian Gulf, used to be the most sacred spot in the world and a Pilgrimage centre for many Centuries in the antiquity. Today, admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, walk the Sacred way and visit the Temple of Apollo, which is home of Pythia 'the Oracle'. Afterwards, visit the local Museum with its famous Bronze Statue of the Charioteer before continuing to Kalambaka for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning, we will visit Meteora, one of the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and part of UNESCO's List of World Heritage Monuments. Admire the amazing rock formations, like Towers of Sandstone, that stand ageless and have provided a sacred retreat for Monks over the Centuries. A number of Monasteries are hidden on top of Meteora. The view over the plain is breathtaking. Meteora is considered among the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and belongs to UNESCO's List of World Heritage Monuments. After our visit, we will take the road back to Athens for our overnight stay. On the way, enjoy a short stop at Thermopylae to admire the Statue of Leonidas King of Sparta, which commemorates the battle of the 300 against the Persians. Meals: Breakfast
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Port for a day cruise to the Saronic Gulf Islands. Take a Donkey ride to explore the 'vehicle free' Hydra, with its unique Mitropolis. Hike to the Clock Tower of Poros to see the views to Yacht Port and the Peloponnese. Join a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride in Aegina and buy some Pistachios or join an excursion to the Temple of Afea. Enjoy a Buffet Lunch onboard and practice your Greek dancing skills on the way back to Athens. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
