After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour visiting Sheshi Skënderbej (Skanderbeg Square), the Mosque of Et'hem Bey, the Clock Tower and the Statue of G.K. Skanderbeg, which is Albania’s National Hero, the Palace of Culture, which was built with Soviet assistance and the National History Museum with a Mosaic on its façade portraying Albanian history. After breakfast, we depart Tirana towards the Town of Shkodër, which is nowadays a major cultural centre. Shkodër was the centre of the Illyrian Tribe Labeat and was taken by the Romans in the year 168 B.C. We will visit the Rozafa Castle, which is magnificently situated on a rocky outcrop of Limestone high above the city before we cross the border to Montenegro and drive to Tivat. This morning, our exploration of Montenegro continues with a scenic drive along the Lovćen Serpentines to the heart of Montenegro, offering panoramic views of Boka Kotorska Bay from the height of over 3,000 ft. above the sea level. We will proceed to the Old Royal Capital, Cetinje. Enjoy a visit to the Home and Museum of the King Nikola, Cetinje Monastery with two precious relics, the 'hand of St. John Baptist’ and the 'fragment of the Holy Cross’. Afterwards, we leave Cetinje back to the hotel in Tivat. Along the way enjoy a colourful seaside scenery of the Montenegro Coast. Overnight in Tivat. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, our journey takes us to Dubrovnik from Tivat. On the way you will see Kotor Bay, which is the only South European Fjord and stop for an orientation tour of Kotor's Old Town, which is a UNESCO Heritage Site. After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Old Dubrovnik to see Rector’s Palace, the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column, Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, which is one of the oldest in the world. This morning after breakfast, you will travel north along the spectacular Adriatic Coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts to the City of Split. Overnight stay and dinner in Split. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic Inner City, which is built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Afterwards, visit the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures including Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is free at leisure to stroll through the beautiful streets of Split or relax at the beach. After breakfast, we depart Split and head to Trogir, which is the centre of artistic and cultural activities. Afterwards, we continue inland and travel to the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. Have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around the lower lakes and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by cascading waterfalls and lush forersts. Today, we return to the coast and travel along the beautiful Bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. After a bit of free time, our journey continues north to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Enjoy a tour of this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, we continue to Bled, which is beautifully set in the Julian Alps for our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
An Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks, Bled was 'discovered’ by travellers in the middle of the 19th Century. A sightseeing tour features the highlights of the charming town and the lakeshore as well as views of the imposing Bled Castle, which is perched on a cliff high above the lake. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure to browse through the shops and boutiques or simply enjoy the enchanting scenery. After breakfast, you will depart the Mountains and head to Ljubljana, the Capital of Slovenia. Here, see the most significant sights of the Old City Centre on a walking tour including the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain. Afterwards, the journey continues to Zagreb, Croatia’s Capital City. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace.
