Today, pick-up your car before departing from your arrival port or airport and driving to the Cotswolds. This beautiful region is quintessentially English with its picture postcard scenery and chocolate box cottages. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. The most famous ones include Broadway, Chipping Campden and Bourton-on-the-Water. You may also choose to explore Bibury, often called 'the most beautiful village in England', or the cottages of Arlington Row, which are often referred to as the most photographed cottages in the country. Today, drive through the southern parts of the Cotswolds near Bath. Visit Lacock, which is a favourite for film and TV producers, with it's most famous appearances including 'Downton Abbey', the BBC's 'Pride and Prejudice' and the film 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince'. Afterwards, continue to the Bath area to spend a little bit of time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in Bath. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, head South to Cornwall through Somerset and Devon. Drive along the North coast and across Exmoor National Park where you can explore villages like Dunster, which is a Medieval Village with an Ancient Castle, priory, dovecote and a mill. You will also find Bossington, a peaceful coastal hamlet. Arrive in Cornwall and check-in to your hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Today, spend the day exploring Cornwall at your own pace. You can head to Fowey where you will find a beautiful small town with narrow Medieval streets and Georgian buildings. Fowey is also known for its Seafood. Polperro is a largely unspoilt fishing village with cottages clinging to steep hillsides around a small harbour. You may also want to include a brewery tour in St. Austell. Overnight stay in Cornwall. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, visit the National Maritime Museum of Cornwell for a look at Britain's history on the sea. Afterwards, depart from Cornwall and drive through South Devon to Dorset. Along the way, explore the Jurassic Coast and stop in villages such as Salcombe in Devon. Overnight stay in Dorset. Meals: Breakfast
Today, depart Dorset and drive to Kent, along the Sussex Coast. Along the way, stop to explore the vineyards en route and see Shaftesbury, a quintessential Dorset village with thatched cottages, quaint tea rooms and small shops. Rye is a Medieval gem with narrow cobbled streets, Medieval Tudor and Georgian buildings. Overnight stay in Kent. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, you have the day free to explore Kent at your own pace. Kent is known as the Garden of England. Here, visit one of the Castles, world famous gardens or stop in Canterbury to see the Cathedral. Discover the pretty villages in the region including Chilham's Historic Square with Tudor ad Jacobean Houses. Afterwards, visit Sandwich, which is one of the best preserved Medieval Towns in England and dates back to the 7th Century. Overnight in Kent or Windsor. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, depart Windsor back to London. Upon arrival, return your hire car before departing from your choice of London Airports for your return flight home or onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
