Welcome to Milan! Your driver will be at the Airport to meet you for your transfer to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy a relaxing first evening in the city.
After breakfast, your driver will take you on a stunning drive towards Switzerland where you will enjoy some free time in St. Moritz. Afterwards, board the famous Bernina Express for one of the world's most scenic Train rides. Marvel at the tunnels, alpine villages and breathtaking mountain views as you cross over the Bernina Pass toward Tirano. Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting there to take you back to Milan. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before some free time to explore Milan at your own pace. In the afternoon meet your local guide for a delightful 3 hour walking tour through the heart of the city. Starting at the historic Porta Venezia, a historic gate with Medieval and Roman origins, you will wander down Corso Venezia, stroll through the beautiful Giardini Indro Montanelli and pass the Galleria d’Arte Moderna before continuing along Viale Manzoni. From the outside, the tour takes you past the iconic Teatro alla Scala and to the majestic façade of the Milan Cathedral (Duomo). The tour concludes at Castello Sforzesco, a Medieval Fortress, followed by a relaxing Aperitivo. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your own before returning to your hotel for your overnight stay. After breakfast, you will leave Milan by coach and head to the beautiful Liguria Region. Our first stop is Santa Margherita Ligure, known as the 'Pearl of the Tigullio', nestled between the sea and mountains. Take a moment to admire its charming port and luxury hotels. Next, enjoy a short and scenic boat ride to the glamorous Portofino, famous for its colourful streets and designer boutiques. Explore this stunning seaside village, cherished by writers like Guy de Maupassant. In the afternoon, we will head to Sestri Levante for a local food and wine tasting experience. Finally, we will reach La Spezia for our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a memorable journey to the Cinque Terre, one of the Mediterranean's most pristine regions featuring villages such as Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarol and Riomaggiore. These charming villages are nestled between rugged cliffs and lush hills, boasting some of the cleanest waters in the Mediterranean. After a bus ride to Levanto, explore the Cinque Terre by local Train with free time to savour a delightful lunch. In the afternoon, we return to La Spezia for a relaxing overnight stay. After breakfast, we will depart La Spezia and travel inland through the scenic countryside. We will stop in Maranello to enter the thrilling World of Ferrari with a guided visit to the iconic Ferrari Museum, a celebration of Italian speed and style. Afterwards, we continue to a traditional Acetaia near Modena for a unique experience learning about Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale. Enjoy a guided tasting paired with regional flavours and a genuine lunch in a welcoming family atmosphere. In the afternoon, we will drive North East across the plains of Emilia Romagna and Veneto towards Venice arriving in the early evening. After checking in, you will have free time to explore. Your day begins in the glorious Piazza San Marco. You will visit the historic Doge’s Palace and stroll past the famous Bridge of Sighs. The morning tour concludes with a traditional Venetian Aperitif and Cicchetti. The rest of the afternoon is yours to leisurely explore the enchanting Canals and backstreets of Venice.
