Welcome to Amsterdam, the start of your Europe Jewel tour. Today, meet up with your Tour Leader and start our adventure with a visit to a cheese farm and a clog demonstration. See how these traditional shoes are made by hand and taste Dutch cheese. You can also purchase some unique and authentic Dutch souvenirs during the visit. Afterwards, enjoy some free time for lunch in the lakeside town of Volendam before we head to Zaanse Schans, which is known for its historic Windmills and wooden houses. Later this evening, we arrive back in Amsterdam for a complimentary Amsterdam Canal Cruise, which is one of the best ways to be introduced to Amsterdam. We'll end our first day of our tour with a delicious group dinner. Meals: Dinner
After breakfast, we depart our hotel in Amsterdam and continue to the picturesque Rhine Valley in Germany. Upon arrival, visit a local wine merchant for an included wine tasting and if the weather was good during the harvest season, you may even get to try Eiswein (ice wine). Eiswein is a very sweet dessert wine that can only be harvested when the temperature drops below freezing. Afterwards we board a riverboat and sail from Boppard to St. Goar. With the highest concentration of Medieval Castles in all of Europe dotted along the riverbanks, this will be a boat cruise to remember. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today our tour travels to Prague, with our first stop to visit the Bavarian City of Nuremberg. Heavily bombed during WW2, Nuremberg was rebuilt and today has been returned to some of its former glory. After our visit to Nuremberg we continue our journey arriving in Prague. Upon arrival, get to know this beautiful city on a walking tour with a local guide. Prague is a beautiful city know for its art and architecture. The quirky bars and cobbled lanes add to the city's European charm. Prague is also known for its brilliant beer and abundance of art. Taste some authentic Czech cuisine at tonight's group dinner. It's time to head to the grandeur of Vienna, stopping first in Bratislava the Capital of Slovakia along the way. Surrounded by mountains, vineyards, ski runs and unbridled wilderness, Bratislava is a charming city. Spot the Medieval Castle overlooking the Old Town and marvel at recent Socialist Era architecture. Our next stop is to the beautiful Austrian City of Vienna. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of the UNESCO credited city centre seeing sights like the Hofburg Palace and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Today, we bid farewell to Vienna as our tour makes its way to the striking Hungarian Capital of Budapest. Sitting astride the Danube River, this scenic city is known for its singular mix of Baroque, Neoclassical and Art Nouveau architecture. Upon arrival in Budapest, to get an overview of this historic city as we embark on a driving tour led by a local guide. The trip will start on the Buda side of the river and includes a glimpse of the Houses of Parliament, St. Stephen's Basilica and more. This afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore the city and all of its delights however you please. After free time, opt for a memorable Danube dinner cruise for spectacular views of Budapest at night! Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, we depart Budapest and journey to the iconic holiday destination in Hungary, the beautiful Lake Balaton. With nearly 200 kms of shoreline, Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe and a popular summer holiday spot. After our visit we continue our travels to Maribor in Slovenia to enjoy free time for lunch. After lunch we continue on to our final stop of the day, the Slovenian Capital Ljubljana. Ljubljana is filled to the brim with incredible sights including a fairytale Castle, beautiful architecture and plenty of natural beauty. Enjoy a walking tour led by an expert local guide who will point out all the must see attractions. Afterwards, explore the city on your own or join an Optional Slovenia Evening Excursion before heading back to the hotel for the night. Meals: Breakfast
This morning, Before departing Slovenia, visit the town of Postojna. There is an optional tour of the dazzling Postojna Cave. The next stop is Venice, known as a city immortalised in literature, film and art for Centuries. Its timeless waterways and artistic masterpieces (more per square kilometre than anywhere else on earth) make it truly unique. This is a city that will truly capture your heart and imagination. Being Italian, there's no shortage of incredible food and culture either. Don't miss the opportunity to experience an Evening In Venice! Leaving Venice is never easy, but luckily the hills of Tuscany are calling. Marvel at the countryside as the coach travels towards Florence. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo before taking a fascinating walking tour of the city with a local guide. Learn about the history of this Renaissance city and see it's best historical landmarks, with some of these landmarks dating back to Roman times. Watch a traditional leather making demonstration before enjoying some free time this afternoon. Enjoy a traditional Italian meal at a local restaurant in Florence tonight. After breakfast we depart Tuscany and head for one of Europe's most famous buildings. Make sure your camera is charged as we head to Pisa. Learn the story behind the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and be sure to take some photos. Afterwards, it's time for a change of scenery as the tour crosses over to the Swiss Alps. Look forward to breathing in that fresh mountain air and enjoy a scenic mountain drive taking in the beauty of the snow capped mountains and greenery around you. We will arrive at our Accommodation for the next two nights in the Swiss Alps. Is there a better way to enjoy the magic of Switzerland than staying in a typical Swiss village? It's an early start today as our tour journeys out of the mountains and for the City of Lights and Love, Paris. Upon arrival later this afternoon, embark on a riveting driving tour of the French Capital. Get your cameras ready as this tour includes views of some of the city's most treasured landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.
