This morning, we will depart our hotel in Dubrovnik and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic Coast passing old fishing villages and modern resorts to the City of Split for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning after breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic Inner City built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, recognised a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, our tour will visit the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures including Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is free at leisure to continue exploring the beautiful streets of Split or enjoy the beach. After breakfast, we depart Split and head to Trogir the centre of artistic and cultural activities. Afterwards, our journey continues inland towards the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. Have your camera ready as we take a walking tour around the lower lakes and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. This morning, we depart Plitvice Lakes and return to the coast travelling along the beautiful Bay of Kvarner to its popular resort town Opatija. Here, enjoy some free time to explore. Afterwards, our journey continues north to Postojna, which is home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Enjoy a tour of this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. After our tour we will depart Postojna and continue to Bled, which is beautifully set in the Julian Alps for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Bled is an Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks and was 'discovered' by travellers in the middle of the 19th Century. After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour seeing the highlights of the town, the lakeshore and admire the stunning views of the imposing Bled Castle, which is perched on a cliff high above the lake. The rest of the day is free at leisure to browse through the shops and boutiques or relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery. Perhaps join us for an Optional Excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake. Meals: Breakfast
This morning, we depart the mountains and head to Ljubljana, the Capital of Slovenia, for a walking tour visiting the most significant sites of the Old City Centre including the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain. Afterwards, our journey will continue to Zagreb the Capital of Croatia for dinner and out overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace. The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the winding streets of the Old Town or join us on an Optional Excursion to see the countryside. Meals: Breakfast
