This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Historic Inner City built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures including Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is free at leisure to stroll through the beautiful streets of Split, enjoy the beach or join us on an Optional Excursion to the Jet Set spot of the rich and famous the Island of Hvar. After breakfast, we depart for Trogir, which is a of artistic activities and cultural activity. From Trogir our journey takes us inland to Plitvice Lakes National Park for a walking tour around the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, we depart Plitvice Lakes and return to the coast travelling along the beautiful Bay of Kvarner to the popular resort town Opatija. After enjoying some free time, our journey continues north to Postojna home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Enjoy a tour of this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, we continue our journey to beautiful Bled, which is set in the Julian Alps for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Bled is an Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks and was 'discovered' by travellers in the middle of the 19th Century. Since its 'discovery' a small town consisting of hotels, villas and restaurants surround the lake turning Bled into a lively all season resort. This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour that highlights the town, the lakeshore and the stunning views from Bled Castle, which is perched high on a cliff above the lake. The rest of the day is free at leisure to continue exploring on your own to browse through the local boutiques or simply enjoy the enchanting scenery. Perhaps join us for an Optional Excursion visiting the small Island located in the middle of the lake. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, we leave the mountains and head to Ljubljana, the Capital of Slovenia, to see the most significant sites on a walking tour through the Old City Centre. Our tour will highlight the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain. Afterwards, we will continue to Zagreb, Croatia's Capital City for dinner and our overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace. Afterwards, the rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the winding streets of the Old Town or take an Optional Excursion to see the countryside. Meals: Breakfast
