Upon arrival in Reykjavík, you will be transfer to your hotel for check-in. This afternoon, enjoy Reykjavík City Walk in a small group.
After breakfast, you will embark on a Golden Circle Day Tour. Golden Circle Day Tour Duration: 8 Hrs Pick up from your accommodation starts at 09:00am. We start the tour by driving to Iceland’s first National Park, the Þingvellir National Park. This is the birthplace of a nation as well as of the first Icelandic democracy when the Viking chieftains decided to establish their first Parliament (Althingi) or general assembly in 930 A.D. Many events took place in the area including the introduction of Christianity in the year 1000 A.D., the declaration of independence from the Danish Kings on June 17, 1944. Besides its historical and cultural importance, the park displays unique geology and natural landscapes. There, one can learn and understand the tectonic activity or the so called the continental drift, the boundary between North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Þingvellir is one of the only sites on earth where the effects of two major tectonic plates drifting apart can be observed. Famous for its outstanding natural beauty, Þingvellir National Park served as one of the main filming locations of Game of Thrones in Iceland. There, you can experience the site the same way encountered or seen by the cast of the White Walkers and the trail of the Wildlings from North of the Wall. After a short walk through the area, we continue towards the Geysir Geothermal area. There, you have enough time to discover Strokkur, one of the most active Geysers in the world. It spouts hot water and steam at the height of 20–25 metres every 5–8 minutes. After a lunch break in the area, we head towards Gullfoss 'Golden Waterfall', Europe’s second most powerful waterfall. It is located on the Hvítá, the 'White River', one of Iceland’s major Glacier rivers. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flights to Ilulissat, Greenland. Upon arrival in Ilulissat, someone will meet and greet you for your shuttle transfer to the hotel. This evening, enjoy a 'Midnight Sailing to the Icefjord'. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Today, enjoy a guided hiking tour to the old settlement by the Icefjord. The beautiful Icebergs are the setting for the Old Settlement of the Sermermiut, which is 1.5 kms south of Ilulissat. For 4000 years, different Inuit cultures lived in the settlement and today you can still see relics left from times gone by. Learn about the Inuit people’s way of life and traditions before the Europeans came to Greenland, see the ruins and touch the permafrost with your own hands. On this hike we will pass 'kællingekløften' where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Icefiord before heading back to Ilulissat. Afterwards, explore Ilulissat on a Guided Cultural City Walk. On this guided cultural and historical walk, you will get an enhanced understanding of the Greenlandic culture and history, which will show Greenland in a new perspective. You will learn about the history of the city, the Greenlandic culture and the modern life 300 kms north of the Arctic Circle. Tonight, enjoy a 2 Course Dinner at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, you will meet the famous Eqi Glacier face to face on a full day tour. By boat it is possible to get very close to the Glacier and hopefully experience pieces of ice breaking off. The sounds are enormous and breathtaking. On the way we pass tiny settlements, steep fields, beautiful waterfalls and Icebergs in incredible shapes and colours. If you are lucky you might even spot Seals and Whales on the way. You will enjoy a lunch in front of the Glacier for 2 hours before heading back to Ilulissat. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today, take a shuttle transfer from the hotel to Ilulissat Airport for your overnight flight to Keflavík, Iceland. Upon arrival, you will take a shuttle transfer to you hotel in Reykjavík for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, enjoy a Whale Watching Tour from Reykjavík in the morning. This afternoon, enjoy a relaxing visit to the Sky lagoon. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel for your transfer to the airport for your onward journey or return flight home. Meals: Breakfast
