Arrive in Paimpol by train from either Guingamp or Saint-Brieuc. Paimpol is an authentic Breton Harbour with Granite houses and colourful shutters, where the scent of seaweed and the history of fishermen fill the air. Its cobblestone streets, Church and lively docks make it a preserved village, blending old world charm and art de vivre. The atmosphere is warm, lulled by the cries of seagulls and tales of the sea.
A gentle walk to get you going! After breakfast, you leave Paimpol on foot and follow a well marked panoramic path above the coast. You will no doubt cross paths with many locals out for their everyday stroll. Your goal today is the beautiful 13th Century Beauport Abbey where you can explore the grounds and admire the view across the bay. You can choose to keep the walk short and sweet with a bus back to Paimpol, or add some more distance with a 45 minutes (there and back) walk to an Oyster farm and bar, where you can sit and enjoy the view over the bay, whilst sampling some seafood tapas with a glass of white wine (table at the Oyster bar to be booked in advance. Closed on Saturdays). Afterwards, walk back to Paimpol for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast as the hotel. Catch the bus from Paimpol to Arcouest Point Ferry Pier, which is approx. 15 minutes away (not included), before boarding the boat to Bréhat Island (not included). You can chose to explore the streets of Bréhat on foot or by bike. Vehicles are restricted on the island. There are 3 bike hire shops on the island, hybrid and e-bikes are available. Bréhat boasts an exceptional climate that allows for abundant and astonishing exotic vegetation to thrive. It is called 'the Island of Flowers' because it is home to many varieties of flowers including the Agapanthus, which are a bluish purple flower that is a symbol of the island and Hydrangeas. Loose yourself in the labyrinth of pretty streets and alleys and admire the beautiful houses and gardens along the way. A truly wonderful day! Board the boat back to Arcouest Point before taking the bus back to Paimpo for your overnight stay. Please Note: The bus on Sundays and Public Holidays runs from 11:35am. This is too late to enjoy the day on Bréhat. We will therefore organise a private transfer in the morning to Arcouest Ferry Pier (at an additional charge). The return bus to Paimpol runs on the same schedule 7/7. No transfer required. Meals: Breakfast
Catch the bus from Paimpol to Arcouest Point Ferry Pier (15 mins) this morning. From Arcouest Point and its fleet of islets protecting the Island of Bréhat, you walk along the customs officers' path, the GR 34, to the small Port of Loguivy-de-la-Mer, which is an important Lobster fishing village in the early 20th Century with over 100 fishing boats in the port. The path then leads you up the Trieux Estuary to the Village of Lézardrieux, alternating between seafront, gentle ascents/descents, passages through woodlands and some rocky areas depending on the tides. Transfer at the end of the walk in Lézardrieux to Tréguier. Tréguier is a Breton gem with a medieval charm, located along the Jaudy River. Its half timbered houses and cobbled streets reflect a rich history as a bishopric and trading town. The historic heart, dominated by the majestic Saint-Tugdual Cathedral, exudes authenticity with its Granite façades and shaded squares. The atmosphere is both peaceful and lively, with cosy cafés, artisan workshops and riverside strolls that capture the gentle spirit of inland Brittany. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Village of Plougrescant (15 mins)to start your walk. This coastal hike offers dazzling views of the rocks sculpted by the sea over the centuries. Let your imagination run wild and find forms such as Napoleon, Mayan masks or Dolphins in the rock formations. Enjoy a 'standing on the edge of the world' feeling from the Pointe du Château, a vast plateau marking the most northerly point in Northern Brittany and admire the panoramic views and tremble at the edge of the Gouffre de Castel Meur as the waves crash through a deep slash in the rocks. You will be blown away by these wildly sublime landscapes. Transfer at the end of the walk back to Tréguier for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Perros-Guirec. Perros-Guirec captivates with its turquoise hued beaches, lined with pink Granite rocks and fine sand, where the light sparkles on the water at high tide. Its charm also lies in the narrow streets, where Granite houses with blue shutters, Belle Époque villas and quaint local shops create an atmosphere that is both authentic and refined. Finally, its lively and colourful marina invites leisurely strolls among fishing boats, seafood terraces and a warm ambiance, perfectly embodying the welcoming maritime spirit of the Pink Granite Coast. You can leave your bags at your hotel and set out on your walk. Begin in Perros-Guirec, where you can admire the beautiful architecture of the houses and their pristine floral gardens. You then walk along the magnificent GR 34 hiking trail nicknamed the ‘Sentier des Douaniers’, the Custom Officers’ path, as the officers used to patrol the coastline to catch smugglers. The GR leads you through the maze of pink Granite chaos, incredible rock formations shaped over time by natural erosion that have taken on strange and fantastical shapes. Breathtaking views guaranteed! Walk back to Perros-Guirec for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Today is a relaxing day with time to enjoy the beach, stroll around Perros-Guirec and enjoy a boat excursion. The day is yours to plan as you please! Optional Boat Excursion to Sept-Îles (on request): The boat excursion (not included) departs from the Nautical Centre on Perros-Guirec. Embark on a 1 Hr 45 Min excursion exploring this remarkable natural site. The Sept-Îles form France’s largest seabird reserve. Over 25,000 pairs of seabirds from around 30 species find refuge here including the Northern Gannet (the only colony in France), Atlantic Puffin, Common Murres, European Shags and Razorbills. You also cruise along the pink Granite Coast in Ploumanac’h for another spectacular sighing of the infamous rock formations. Please Note: Daily departures from Perros-Guirec Nautical Centre from the beginning of April until the end of September. Departures also available from Ploumanac'h and Trégastel in July and August only. Ensure to be at the boat pier 20-30 mins before the excursion. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will see breathtaking views as you circle the Renote Peninsula along a well marked hiking trail. The Granite rocks a reminder of the walk the day before. You then continue following the wild and beautiful coastline along the GR 34 panoramic hiking trail to Landrellec. There are plenty of picnic spots along the itinerary. Afterwards, transfer to Trébeurden for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
From Trébeurden, you will walk along a panoramic path above the sea between ferns and pine forests. The path leads along the clifftops and down to pretty beaches with plenty of picnic spots, swimming opportunities or a rest on the sand. The second part of the trail is along a well maintained and picturesque towpath that leads to the centre of Lannion, with its picturesque streets lined with half timbered houses and remarkable monuments. Afterwards, transfer back from Lannion to Trébeurden for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy a final relaxing morning on the beach before your afternoon transfer to Lannion train station for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
