Begin your trip in Vannes, a beautiful city known for its Ramparts and charming Marina. Wander through the Old Town, tucked behind Medieval Walls, where cobbled streets are lined with half timbered houses.
Set out from Vannes and board a short ferry to Île d’Arz (30 minutes), where you can enjoy a leisurely walk to explore the island. Back on the mainland, ride to Séné before continuing towards Saint-Armel and its salt marshes before reaching the Rhuys Peninsula and the Town of Sarzeau. Meals: Breakfast

Head south to Pointe Saint-Jacques and follow the coastline to the beautiful Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys Peninsula, home to an impressive 11th Century Church. The route continues along the Gulf toward Arzon. Choose the longer version (approx. 35 kms) to visit the Château de Suscinio, a magnificent Medieval Fortress built between the 13th and 15th Centuries, once a favoured residence of the Dukes of Brittany. From Port Navalo, board a boat across the Gulf to Locmariaquer before cycling on to Auray, a historic Harbour Town nestled on a sheltered inlet. Why not opt for the longer stage (approx. 43 kms) if you’d like to explore La Trinité-sur-Mer, a lively fishing port and marina before continuing to Carnac, which is world renowned for its extraordinary megalithic stone alignments. Begin with a visit to the Medieval Port of Saint-Goustan before continuing to Le Bono and Port-Blanc, where you will catch a quick ferry (5 minutes) to Île aux Moines, known as the 'Pearl of the Gulf'. You can explore the Island at your own pace or follow our suggested loop. Back on the mainland, cycle to Arradon, nicknamed the 'Morbihan Riviera', before returning to Vannes. If time allows, detour to the pretty Port of Larmor-Baden with a footpath leading to the enchanting Île de Berder. Meals: Breakfast
