After breakfast, start your bike ride through the vineyards on a bike path passing through the wine making villages of Pommard, Volnay and the Grands Crus vineyards (Montrachet and Batard Montrachet). There are many wine tasting options all along the way until you reach Santenay. Then a short portion of the cycling path is alongside the Canal before you reach your destination, which is situated at the beginning of the Côte Chalonnaise. After breakfast, cycle on small country roads to join another cycling track beside the 'Canal du Centre' to reach Chagny, passing near Rully, a wine maker village and the Chalon-sur-Saône area. Dracy-le-Fort is a small village on the border of the Côte Chalonnaise vineyards. Overnight stay in Dracy-le-Fort. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, join the 'Green Way' in Givry, a wine making village producing a favourite red wine of the French King Henri IV. This bike path is built on an ancient rail line, which was the first bike path of France. Appreciate the peaceful and lovely Roman architecture in Buxy, St. Gengoux Le National, Malay. Arrive in Cormatin, the perfect place to have lunch and to visit the Castle before you head up to Cluny. The Abbey of Cluny and the stud farm will be another must visit. Overnight stay in Cluny. After breakfast, return to the cycling path and follow it to Mâcon. The landscape starts to be hillier around the easy cycling path. The Castle of Berze Le Chatel is worth a detour as it is such a romantic place to visit with lovely views. You will also cross the longest European tunnel open to cyclists and continue cycling through the val Lamartinien with gorgeous views of the Solutre Rock. Overnight in Mâcon. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, end of services. There is the possibility to return by train to Beaune or maybe take the fast train (TGV) directly from Mâcon to Paris, the choice is yours. Meals: Breakfast
