After breakfast, today's trek takes you through the Elisabeth Forest Trail to Bergau at Lake Attersee and along the shore to Weissenbach for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Today, starting at Burggrabenklamm follow the trail through the narrow Gorge to Mount Schafberg. From here, continue on the hiking path 17A between Attersee and Mondsee, past the Scharflinger Pass before descending to Saint Gilgen where you then follow the lakeside promenade to Abersee for your overnight stay. After breakfast, board the ferry to Saint Wolfgang. Here, you have the option to take the Cog Railway to Mount Schafberg (1,760 metres). Otherwise, walk from Saint Wolfgang to Berau before arriving in Strobl for your overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast
Today, you will follow the Baerenpfad Trail from Strobl to Bad Goisern for your afternoon stay. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, walk along the valley floor from Bad Goisern along the Sole Wanderweg, following the lake shoreline to the exceptionally pretty village of Hallstatt. The route continues to the far end of the lake and onto Obertraun. Here, head into the scenic Koppental Valley, ascending over the Koppen Pass to remain above the valley floor until a slight descent into Bad Aussee. Meals: Breakfast
Today, leaving Bad Aussee, the route follows the course of the river and steadily rises to the village of Alpengarten. You then pass the historic Salt Mountain of Aussee and Pflindsberg Castle, which provides a lovely view over the Ausseerland. From here, you can also see Lake Altaussee, which was used as a location in the James Bond film Spectre. Afterwards, your journey continues until you reach Bad Goisern. Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, make the short trip back to Bad Ischl for your departure to either Munich or Salzburg (by bus or train, not included) for your return flight home or onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
