Early this morning, we will set sail for the tiny Island of Biševo to visit the magnificent Blue Cave, a truly breathtaking natural phenomenon. Please be aware that our visit is dependent on the weather conditions (Entrance Ticket to be Paid on the Spot). Afterwards, we continue towards the Island of Vis, which holds a unique geographical position. Once a strategic Harbour for the Yugoslav Navy, it was closed to the public until recently. This isolation has allowed Vis to retain a special charm, offering a taste of 'the Mediterranean as it once was', making it a fascinating place to explore. We will stay overnight in the Town of Vis, located on the northern side of the island. It developed near the remains of Ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia. If you are interested, you can visit the remains of the Roman Thermal Place, the City Museum or simply take a stroll and enjoy the views of the beautiful 'Villae Rusticae' situated along the waterfront. For those who want to see more, you can rent a car or scooter and explore this wonderful island at your own pace. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Our destination today is the tiny Island of Šćedro, near the Island of Hvar, where we will have time to relax and swim in the clean, crystal blue sea. After lunch, we will depart for Hvar where an optional guided tour is available (included on Premium Superior). Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic and is home to a magnificent Renaissance Cathedral with its original Tower and Europe's oldest Community Theatre, founded here in 1612. Hvar Town offers a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés and clubs that stay open long into the night. Overnight in Hvar Harbour. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today, we leave Hvar behind and continue cruising towards the Island of Brač, heading towards the Town of Bol, which is a typical fisherman's village and popular tourist destination. From here, you can visit the most famous and most photographed beach in Dalmatia, 'Zlatni Rat', which is renowned for its ever changing shape. A shingle bar that moves according to the wind and waves. Enjoy a walk through the pine forest from Bol to the Golden Horn Beach or ride the tourist train (at an Additional Fee). Afterwards, return to the ship before we continue cruising towards Makarska, a town offering a Mediterranean feel. Enjoy a stroll, discovering numerous Churches as well as other architectural and cultural sites. We'll spend the night in Makarska Port. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Our destination for today is Pučišća, a typical Mediterranean village located on the northern side of Brač Island at the bottom of a deep Bay. Before we arrive, enjoy a stop for a swim and some relaxation in a secluded Bay along the way. After lunch onboard, you can explore Pučišća, which is home to the world famous white stone of Brač. You might even have the chance to visit one of the few Stone Masonry Workshops still left in Europe. We will spend the night in the Port with a special Captain's Dinner onboard (included on Premium Superior and Premium category vessels). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Captain's Dinner
Today, we depart Pučišća for our final destination, the City of Split, arriving in the early afternoon. The Old Town of Split is a fascinating maze of streets and cobblestone lanes that surround the 1,700 year old Diocletian's Palace, which the Roman Emperor chose as his Retirement Villa. Both the Old Town and Diocletian's Palace are under UNESCO Protection. People's Square (Narodni Trg) is the heart of the Old Town with cafés and restaurants spilling out onto the square. One of the highlights here is gazing up at the Old Town Clock. Upon arrival, a guided tour of Split with an English speaking guide is offered (included for Premium and Premium Superior tours).
