OPTION 1: 12 Days/11 Nights
Day 1 (Tuesday):  Rome - Florence 

At 07.30 am pickup at your hotel in Rome and transfer to the meeting point to join the group. Departure to the Cradle of the Renaissance. First you will stop in Michelangelo’s square for a photo opportunity, then your local guide will make you discover Florence during a walking tour of the city including beauties such as Piazza della Signoria with Loggia dei Lanzi (a real open-air museum), the Cathedral (outside), Giotto’s Bell Tower (outside), the doors of the Baptistery and the Church of Santa Croce. Have lunch at a local restaurant and spend your night in Florence.

Day 2 (Wednesday): Florence - Full Day in Cinque Terre 

Breakfast at hotel. Today discover by train the highlights of one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (cinque) villages, suspended between sea and land listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. You will first reach Manarola. Your journey will continue to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered the pearl of the Cinque Terre, where you will be overcome by its enchanting beaches. Back to Florence where you stay overnight.

Day 3 (Thursday): Florence - Venice 

After breakfast departure to the Door of the Orient. Upon arrival in Venice enjoy a guided tour of this unique and romantic city. Strolling through the ancient and narrow streets of Venice, you will reach the Rialto Bridge (outside) and St. Mark’s Square with the impressive Basilica (outside). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 (Friday): Venice - Verona - San Gimignano - Siena 

After breakfast departure to Verona where your tour leader will make you discover the wide array of monuments and historic buildings of this romantic city, such as Juliet’s Balcony (the star-crossed lover from the masterpiece by Shakespeare) and the Roman Theatre (outside). Then leave to the beautiful hilltop town of San Gimignano, famous all over the world for the skyline of its medieval towers. Today you’ll have the chance to visit a wine estate and taste the world-known Chianti wine accompanied with light dinner. Continuation to the hilltop town of Siena where you stay overnight.

Day 5 (Saturday): Siena - Rome 

After breakfast enjoy a walking tour of the city with your tour escort to admire the Dome (outside), the magnificent square known as Il Campo, where twice a year the “Palio” race is run on bareback horses. Enjoy your time at leisure for personal discoveries. Continuation to Rome where you will enjoy dinner at local restaurant and spend the night.

Day 6 (Sunday): Rome - Pompeii - Sorrento 

After breakfast, departure to Sorrentine Peninsula, visit of cameo factory before arriving in Pompeii, where your local guide will make you discover this ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Then proceed to Sorrento for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 (Monday): Sorrento - Capri - Limoncello Tasting - Sorrento 

After breakfast, transfer to the harbour and cross to the Isle of Capri, famous since Roman times and favourite vacation spot of Emperor Tiberius and – in modern era – of many VIP. Arrive at the port of Marina Grande take the funicular up to La Piazzetta. Spend your time at leisure to explore the Island. Return to Sorrento where you’ll have the chance to taste “Limoncello”, the liquor made from the fragrant lemon of Sorrentine Area. Enjoy your Dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8 (Tuesday): Sorrento - Naples - Overnight ferry to Palermo 

After Breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time at leisure before heading to the port of Naples where you will board the overnight ferry to Sicily. Have Dinner and sleep on board.

Day 9 (Wednesday): Palermo - Monreale - Agrigento 

After disembarkation enjoy a special breakfast in the Sicilian way in a typical bar, then you’ll have a panoramic tour of Palermo before continuing to Monreale, where you will admire the Moorish-Norman Dome, famous for extensive precious byzantine mosaics. Proceed to Agrigento where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 10 (Thursday): Agrigento - Tasting - Taormina - Acireale or G.Naxos 

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to discover the Valley of Temples, the world’s largest archaeological park and UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Then depart for a farm nearby for a tasting of Sicilian products. Proceed to Taormina, where you have free time for shopping or a leisurely stroll along the panoramic terrace. Check in at the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 11 (Friday): Excursion to Syracuse 

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by departure to Syracuse, for a guided visit of the archaeological park including highlights such as the Roman Amphitheatre, the Neapolis Greek Theatre and the Ear of Dionysus, an ear-shaped grotto. Your have free time in the afternoon and dinner at the hotel.

Day 12 (Saturday): Acireale or G.Naxos - Mount Etna - Catania Airport 

After breakfast, depart for an excursion to the highest active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna. Reach Rifugio Sapienza (1900 a.s.l.) where you’ll enjoy a suggestive view. Today a special Farewell Lunch of local products will be served. Continue to Catania airport in the afternoon*. End of services. *Arrival at Catania Airport around 6:00pm.

OPTION 2: 15 Days/14 Nights
Day 1 (Sunday): Arrival in Rome

Upon arrival, meet and greet by your tour leader and transfer to Rome. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight you will have a special welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 (Monday): Rome - Vatican Museums - Optional Rome by Night

After breakfast, your local guide will make you discover highlights of religious and ancient Rome: The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel where you’ll admire the Last Judgment and the Creation by Michelangelo, St. Peter's Square and Basilica. You will also admire the majestic Coliseum (outside) and the Roman Forum (outside). To make the most of your stay, join our optional Rome-By-Night excursion (€). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14 (Saturday): Acireale or G.Naxos - Mount Etna - Rome

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to Fiumicino Airport to catch your flight back home.
